Bringing you new value and experiences through your precious items!
Kintsugi, which means “golden joinery” in Japanese, is the traditional Japanese art of repairing broken pottery using lacquer mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. Rather than hiding the damage, kintsugi highlights the cracks and treats them as a beautiful part of the object’s history.
The philosophy behind kintsugi is deeply rooted in wabi-sabi, a Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and the passage of time. Instead of discarding a broken item, kintsugi embraces its flaws and transforms it into something more unique and valuable.
Kintsugi is more than just a repair technique—it’s also a powerful metaphor for healing and resilience. It teaches that scars and breaks are not something to be ashamed of, but can be honored as part of one’s story.
Upon arrival at the meeting point, our English speaking guide will be at the meeting point with clear landmarks. After
meeting up with your English speaking guide, we will walk and Move to experience studio and try to traditional experience in Japan.
